What is MOBE?

MOBE is a company that helps people with health challenges like persistent pain, poor sleep, fatigue, feelings of depression and overall discomfort, stemming from a variety of medical conditions. Our program is grounded in education about how the body and brain work together to affect how you feel. Every person we work with is paired with a dedicated Guide who listens, teaches and shares ideas for feeling better and more alive. The phone-based program is not another treatment. In fact, it is not a clinical program at all. It is complementary to the care or advice you may receive from your primary care physician or other healthcare provider.

Why am I eligible for this program?

There is not one singular answer to this question. The MOBE program helps people with a variety of diagnoses and conditions, with the common thread being an element of pain. Eligibility is based on health history.

How does MOBE work?

First, MOBE pairs you with a trained, dedicated Guide. Your Guide will get to know you and understand your unique health situation and then begin to teach you the benefits of self-management. Your Guide will share simple, actionable ideas to make the MOBE program work for you, with the goal of providing some relief. It may not be a quick fix, as there is no immediate cure for chronic health conditions.  But your MOBE Guide can help you on your journey to identify and implement real changes in your life to better manage and control your health.

How much time will I spend with MOBE?

Every experience with MOBE is highly personalized, but most participants start with weekly 30-minute telephone sessions. After 6-8 weeks, many people go to semi-monthly conversations. Your MOBE Guide is available to work with you on your pace, for as long as you need.

What are the credentials of a MOBE Guide?

Every MOBE Guide is trained in the program, has at least 5 years of experience in a healthcare field and is skilled in providing support for lifestyle changes and self-management.

Does MOBE replace my relationship with my doctor?

No. The MOBE program complements your existing physician relationships. We don’t practice medicine, prescribe treatment or provide a diagnosis. Many doctors and health organizations recognize the benefits of self-management, but teaching those skills is not their typical responsibility. That’s why the MOBE program enhances your current care by helping you make the most of your body’s natural healing abilities.

Where do I find MOBE?

How much does MOBE cost?

There is no additional cost to you; it is being provided as part of your current health plan.

Does my participation affect my insurance coverage or premium cost?

No. Your participation with MOBE does not affect your insurance premium or coverage.

Does MOBE share my information?

Your insurance provider and primary physician will know about your participation in the program, but conversations between you and your MOBE Guide are kept confidential in accordance with our privacy policy. If you’d like to read the full version, it is available at
