New Chief Commercial Officers Von Miles and Denise Vance-Rodrigues bring expertise in Payer and Employer markets to MOBE’s expanding client base.
MINNEAPOLIS, June 2, 2020 — MOBE, a company combining advanced data analytics with one-to-one personalized health guidance, today announced the addition of two industry-leading Chief Commercial Officers—Von Miles and Denise Vance-Rodrigues, GBA—to support the company’s growing range of customers, and help bring its novel approach to health and wellness benefits to both payer and self-insured employer populations. Miles will serve as CCO-Health Plans, and Vance-Rodrigues will serve as CCO-Employer.
“At the core of our mission to help people live healthier, happier lives, is the drive to expand—to make our program available to more and more individuals who need support in achieving their health goals—and Denise’s and Von’s experience and passion will help us do just that,” said Chris Cronin, CEO of MOBE. “Their deep expertise across the payer and employer spaces will be invaluable to our customers as we continue to grow in the year ahead. We see each of these phenomenal leaders as instrumental in realizing our potential to help people achieve better health outcomes and better use of healthcare dollars and resources.”
As CCO for MOBE’s health plan customers, Von Miles will support MOBE’s solution for plan members who use health services frequently, without experiencing optimal health outcomes. MOBE proactively engages them to provide personalized, one-to-one support with a MOBE Guide and/or Pharmacist. Miles has a decades-long track record for building teams and businesses; most recently at Ascension Health, Miles helped build Agilify Automation, an intelligent automation solution for employers. Prior to Ascension, Von held leadership roles in the IT consulting space and at UnitedHealth Group.
As CCO for MOBE’s self-insured employer customers, Denise Vance-Rodrigues will support MOBE’s population health solution that uses sophisticated data science and analytics to identify those who need the most personalized support from MOBE Guides and Pharmacists, and identify those at risk for preventable future health issues. Vance-Rodrigues has 35 years of experience in the employee benefits consulting business; in her previous role at Canopy Health, she was Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. She has held several board positions in the past with the Silicon Valley Association of Health Underwriters, the Northern California Employee Benefit Council, and the Golden Gate Association of Health Underwriters. Additionally, she also has received a Group Benefits Specialist (GBA) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.
Since its inception, MOBE has saved $140 million of spend within the healthcare system and reached more than 100,000 insured individuals. Over the past year, MOBE’s team has grown by 25 percent to more than 250 employees. Leveraging a unique model that combines data science and machine learning with authentic human connections, MOBE’s network of personal health Guides and Pharmacists support a whole-person approach to health, focusing on nutrition, sleep, movement, medication, and happiness.
