Diversity, equity, and inclusion

The DE&I “why” at MOBE

Our mission for better health and more happiness is not only for the populations we work with but also for our workforce and communities. We’re determined to facilitate conversations and provide ongoing education that takes a deeper look at what inclusion means to our employees, communities, business partners, and historically underrepresented groups. We are dedicated to the long-term effort of becoming an admirably equitable workplace made up of markedly diverse individuals who demonstrate cultural awareness, sensitivity, and humility.

What diversity means at MOBE

We value a workforce made up of people with differences who are eager to learn from each other. We strive to build vendor relationships and internal teams with more people from underrepresented groups. Many things shape a person’s identity and viewpoint, including race, ethnicity, cultural background, nationality, language, age, life experience, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, creed, class, and physical and mental capability. Understanding, appreciating, and celebrating uniqueness grows our collective perspective at MOBE and is critical to our success.

What equity means at MOBE

We facilitate goal achievement, growth, and opportunity for our employees and participants. We serve people from varied cultures, viewpoints, and backgrounds, meeting them wherever they are. We enable personal growth and goal achievement across all groups, no matter individual life experiences. We advocate for those who've been put at a disadvantage historically. And we strive to do the same internally while building a more diverse workforce and examining our own biases.

What inclusion means at MOBE

We welcome and embrace everyone and cherish differences in one another. Collectively, we commit to fostering unity and seeking a better understanding of differences in people to communicate effectively—and so that everyone feels respected, valued, and supported.

No one is at their best if they feel the need to suppress part of what makes them who they are, whether it's their race, age, cultural background, or gender identity. We provide an inclusive environment so that everyone is comfortable at work—authentic about who they are and what has shaped them.
