The annual conference featuring senior well-being leaders from exemplary companies will be held September 27–29 in Salt Lake City at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek. This year’s theme is “Doing Well by Doing Good: How Responsible Organizations are Addressing Societal Challenges.”

Janice Trey and Travis Hoyt will join other speakers highlighting the alignment between workforce health and well-being efforts and shared value, spanning barriers encountered, innovative strategies being tested, and results that are shaping future strategies. HERO Forum23 will explore how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and other value frameworks are currently defined and measured, the effects an organization’s efforts can have on workers, where workforce health and well-being fit into the mix, and how successfully addressing societal challenges can help drive organizational performance and population health.

Their presentation, “Unlocking tangible cost savings,” will show attendees how to generate substantial savings and achieve unprecedented engagement rates and ROI through an innovative whole-person approach to well-being. The speakers will share multi-layered savings strategies to achieve measurable health improvement and reduce health care costs.

“Janice and Travis’ presentation is crucial in bringing this year’s theme to life,” says HERO President & CEO Karen Moseley. “It’s because of leaders like them that we’re able to connect science and practice for workforce health and well-being and move toward new levels of acceptance and accountability.”

About MOBE

MOBE was founded in 2014 by health industry veterans who uncovered a way to use deep data science to identify people whose health care needs (and costs) are going up, but whose health concerns are not resolved. MOBE combines this deep data science with digital health and a novel, one-to-one personalized approach—engaging and supporting participants to achieve healthier and happier lives without any additional cost to the health system, employers, or insurers.
